Application Principles
- Applications will be made until September 22, 2023 at 17:00.
- Our students can apply by filling out the "Double Major Application Form" available at https://mtmyo.mehmetakif.edu.tr/form/474/483/oegrenci-belge and sending it to our school's email address (mtmyo@mehmetakif.edu.tr).
- Applications that do not reach our Vocational School within the application dates will not be processed.

- Our students can apply to the double major program at the earliest at the beginning of the second semester and at the latest at the beginning of the third semester.
- Students whose weighted GPA in the major diploma program is at least 3.00 out of 4.00 and who are in the top 20% in terms of success ranking in the relevant class of the major diploma program can apply to the double major diploma program.
- Students whose weighted GPA in the major diploma program is at least 3.00 out of 4.00 but who are not in the top 20% in terms of success ranking in the relevant class of the major diploma program can also apply to the double major program, provided that they have a score not less than the base score of the program to be double majored in the relevant year.
- In order to apply to the double major diploma program, the student must have successfully completed all the courses taken in the major diploma program until the semester they are applying for.
- The ranking of the applicants is based on the GPA. In case of GPA equality, the student's rank within the percentile is taken into account.
- The acceptance process to the double major program is finalized by the decision of the board of the unit applied for. If the main candidates do not register within the specified period, the reserve candidates are taken in order.
